Sustainable Initiatives

We care deeply about the planet and creating a brand that gives back to nature.
That's why we are proud to be partnered with OneTreePlanted, Ecologi, HeroPack and many others who share the same values.

But that's not all.

We've incorporated a number of initiatives to ensure sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do.

Sustainable Materials

We are always looking for ways to further reduce our footprint, utilising a selection of raw materials with unique properties for our products wherever possible. Keeping our products raw and natural helps minimise waste whilst eliminating nasty toxins and chemical additives.

Carbon Neutrality

Staying carbon neutral is important to us and means minimising our footprint in every aspect of our business. Some of the ways we reduce our environmental impact are by investing in sustainable projects and carbon offsets, selecting certified carbon neutral shipping couriers, offering local pick up and using recycled or biodegradable materials at any opportunity.

Product Lifecycle

All of our products are designed to last and require minimal maintenance, maximising the use-phase of the product! However, when your product does reach the end of its life, send it back to us for a 10% off code and we will recycle it for you!

Ethical Procurement

The materials used for our products are sourced in an ethical and sustainable manor that does not disturb forest habitats or eco-systems in any way.

Our Materials

Rubber

The rubber and latex used in our products is made using natural tree sap sustainably collected through a process called 'tapping'.

This is the material responsible for the great resistivity in our resistance bands!

Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that requires very few post-processing chemicals when compared to other fabrics. It's also the most breathable fabric!

Our cotton supply-chain is OEKO-TEX certified and complies with European ethical and environmental sustainability standards.

Cork

Did you know that harvesting oak tree bark (cork) is completely regenerative and does not involve cutting the tree at all!

Cork is the material of choice for our yoga mats due to its sustainable harvesting methods, PLUS it has amazing material properties!

With every Ardor product purchased you are planting multiple trees in a variety of locations world-wide!

What's so great about trees?

Air - Trees take in harmful pollutants and release clean oxygen for us to breathe.

Water - Trees filter water, prevent floods and help maintain water cycles.

Biodiversity - Forests provide habitat to many animals, birds, insects, fungi, moss and plants.

Social Impact - Trees provide jobs and food security to many communities.

Health - Trees and nature reduce stress, aid in recovery and promote overall wellness.

Climate - Trees absorb carbon dioxide and other pollutants, helping to clean air and regulate climate.
